Britain has proven the popularity of the Newcastle branch of Fenwick’s Christmas display in the store window, by voting it as one of their favourite Christmas displays. In a national survey by McCarthy & Stone, 3,000 participants picked their favourite festive attractions and exhibitions. With a selection that included National Trust’s Dunham Massey display and Ramsgate harbour, many top spots went to National Trust properties, gardens and botanical attractions.

Fenwick Newcastle’s Christmas Window display has become revered by the nation over the years, taking on a different theme each time, securing 11% of the votes.
