Hardcastle Rural Surveyors was founded in May 2021 by Andrew Hardcastle. Andrew, a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Agricultural Valuer, is an experienced Land Agent who has advised farmers, landowners, rural businesses and property owners across the region for over 15 years. Passionate about agriculture and the rural economy Andrew has a clear vision that the company will provide a single point of contact to clients in order to build longstanding relationships based on trust. By really getting to know clients and their businesses we can assist farmers and property owners in a wide range of situations to help them to grow and succeed with their objectives.
Following a successful first couple of months in business Hardcastle Rural Surveyors welcomed Katie Fall (Assistant Rural Surveyor) and Victoria Hardcastle (Admin Assistant) in August in order to allow us to continue to offer a high level of customer service as the company continues to grow its client base.
Katie is from a well-known farming family near Bedale and is working towards her professional qualifications. Working closely with Andrew, she has expert knowledge of current grant and support schemes and will be advising clients across the region. Victoria has joined the firm following a career in the education sector, she will provide support across the firm and looks forward to meeting our clients.
Hardcastle Rural Surveyors operate across Yorkshire to provide a range of specialist property and farm business advice to a wide range of rural businesses, land and property owners. A key service we offer is the provision of advice on grant and support schemes including the new ELMS and Productivity Grants. We feel that this is a particularly key issue for our clients as they seek to adapt to the changes to the agricultural support system.
We are also able to support clients with contract and share farming structures to allow two businesses to work together, this can form a crucial part of retirement planning and as part of wide business changes. Other services include land and farm sales, tenancy advice, planning and diversification as well as compensation and compulsory purchase schemes. As a RICS Registered Valuer and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers Association and regulated by the RICS firm we are also able to offer professional valuations & taxation planning advice.
As a local company with our roots firmly in Yorkshire we look forward to serving the rural community for many years to come and helping to make agriculture a thriving and forward-thinking sector of the economy.
